Listing policy

Effective October 15, 2026

WoodClubHub exists to help people find a woodworking club near them. Here's how listings work.

Who gets listed

Woodworking, woodturning, woodcarving and furniture making groups in the US and Canada that meet in person or online. That includes:

Listing is free. We review every submission, and we may decline listings that aren't about woodworking, look like spam, or exist mainly to get a link.

What we publish, and what we don't

Club listings show the club name, type, specialties, city and state, website, meeting place and schedule, and a short note. To protect members' privacy:

If your club wants something shown that we've kept private, like a phone number, just ask.

What the badges mean

"Last verified" is the date someone last confirmed the details. We check club websites regularly. If a site stops responding, we show that instead of a broken link.

Corrections and removal

Anyone can send an update with the "Update this listing" button on each club page, or through the add or update form. Officers and organizers can also ask us to remove a listing, or to remove personal information from one. We review changes before they go live, usually within a week or two.

Links

We link to every listed club's website when we have one that works. Links to schools, online communities, and any future paid or featured listings are marked as such for search engines.

Featured listings

We don't sell placement today. If we ever offer featured or sponsored spots, they'll be clearly labeled, and local clubs will still be listed free.
